Introductory studio consisting of both hand and wheel methods of construction, including an examination of clay, glaze, decoration methods, and firing process. Techniques of ceramics dealing with materials glazing and firing. ◊ is offered in combination with ◊, which is similar in content and lab, with students working independently for a portion of each class.
