Nursing, Vocational
Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), also known as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), provide basic patient care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or physicians. They perform a variety of tasks, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with personal hygiene, and documenting patient information. LVNs play a vital role in patient care, especially in settings like hospitals, nursing homes, and doctor's offices. This credential also provides a foundation for completion of the Associate Degree Nursing program.
