MUSI1312 — Music Theory II
(3-3-0) This course is taken for academic credit. (Preprequisite: MUSI 1311 and 1116 with grades of C or higher) Students will earn an A, B, C, D, F, or W. The study of analysis and writing of tonal melody and diatonic harmony, including fundamental music concepts, scales, intervals, chords, 7th chords, and early four-part writing. Analysis of small compositional forms. Optional correlated study at the keyboard.
