Introduces the characteristics of building materials and the methods of construction in which these materials are used in the erection of structures. Introduces the physical properties of steel, concrete, timber, glass, and related materials as well as methods used in testing materials. All sixteen CSI divisions are discussed. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours.
