WELD 257 — Advanced GTAW
Prerequisite(s): WELD 157. This course is designed to learn proper skills in welding safety, gas cylinder usage and storage, and to develop deeper skills with gas tungsten metal arc welding, operation of welding power sources, and mechanical accessories. Metallurgy principles, proper heat and wire speed selection for a variety of material will be taught. Lecture 2 hours/Laboratory 4 hours/Total 6 hours per week. FA
