WELD 159 — Introduction to FCAW
This introductory course is designed to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviors in welding safety, gas cylinder usage, and storage. This course covers use of semi-automatic flux core welding machine power sources, equipment, and accessories, machine adjustments, and recognition of weld quality. The student develops skills to make multi-pass welds in all welding positions. Lecture 2 hours/Laboratory 4 hours/Total 6 hours per week. SP
