SCOM 210 — - Interpersonal Communication
MOTR COMM 120 Prerequisite(s): READ 02 or Reading Placement of ENGL 111. ENGL 02 or Writing Placement of ENGL 08 or higher. A study in the theory and practice of interpersonal communication within a variety of contexts. This course is designed to promote awareness and understanding of how human communication processes impact perception, understanding, and the assignment of meaning. Students explore and participate in principles of self-realization, behavioral communication, effective listening, conflict management, climates, and gender and cultural implications on communication.
