5 credits · 5 hours

Prerequisite(s): MATH 271 with a minimum letter grade of C. This course is the third course in a 3-course sequence covering calculus and analytic geometry. This course involves the study of differentiation and integration of functions of more than one independent variable. That is, partial derivatives are studied, along with multiple integration. Operations on vectors both in the xy plane and outside the plane are studied. These operations include the dot product and the cross product. Differentiation and integration of vector-valued functions are also looked at. Lecture 5 hours per week. SP Mechanical Drafting
