An introduction to the structure of mathematics, properties of each subset of the real number system, elementary number theory, probability and statistics, and other numeration systems intended for the Elementary Education Teacher. Lecture 4 hours per week. FA, SP, SU MOTR MATH 130 Prerequisite(s): MATH 103 or 153 with a minimum letter grade of C or MATH placement score of MATH 163 and READ 01 or Reading placement of READ 02 or higher. A calculator-oriented course concerned with the properties of the various numbers systems, equations, inequalities, functions, and relations. This course is intended to prepare students for fields of study that require a high level of algebraic reasoning or calculus. Lecture 3 hours per week. FA, WI, SP, SU
