IST 275 — Advanced Medical Billing and Coding I
Prerequisite(s): IST 226. This course is designed to introduce individuals to health records, data content, compliance, information technologies, confidentiality, and privacy requirements. Individuals will develop skills necessary to obtain employment in a physician’s office, hospital, or health care facility. Individuals will develop skills necessary to advance to IST 276 Advanced Medical Billing and Coding II. Lecture 3 hours per week. SP
