BLAW 221 — - Legal and Ethical Environment of Business
Prerequisite(s): READ 02 or Reading placement of ENGL 111. This course is a presentation of the basic principles of law as they relate to business. It emphasizes the background of law and the moral and ethical issues created when the law is applied in society. Additional topics include crime, torts, contracts, personal property, consumer protection, and environmental, constitutional, and international law. Lecture 3 hours per week.
