BHS 216 — Systems of Care/Support
Prerequisite(s): BHS 206. This course focuses on identifying and building relationships with community resources. Students will learn to identify, coordinate and link community resources with client needs. Students will gain knowledge of services offered by public and private providers as well as funding sources. Students will also learn about how one’s culture can impact the receiving and seeking of various services. At the end of the course, students will have a resource portfolio. Lecture 3 hours per week.
