ARTS 123 — - History and Appreciation of Art
MOTR ART 100 Prerequisite(s): READ 02 or Reading placement of ENGL 111. This is an introductory course emphasizing the appreciation of the visual arts through the study of the art and architecture of various geographical areas and cultures throughout history from antiquity through contemporary artists. A select number of significant artists, artistic movements, and cultures are covered. The course examines how art reflects and influences cultures throughout history. Lecture 3 hours per week.
