NURS 302 — Pharmacology III
Pharmacology III presents the theoretical base upon which to competently apply principles of medication administration in the clinical practice setting. Specific medications, their actions, interactions, side and toxic effects, desired outcomes an d indications will be presented. Specific medication classifications included in this course will correspond to the Medical Surgical II course syllabus. Students are expected to utilize the nursing process including critical thinking skills appropri ate to Semester III in all areas applicable to the administration of medications.
Prerequisites: NURS 103, NURS 112, NURS 202
