COMM 103 — Personal & Vocational Concepts
This course will introduce the practical nursing student to their role as a member of the health care team. Course content identifies specific factors necessary for personal and vocational adjustments. Students are introduced to the Missouri Nurse Practice Art and cultural/spiritual issues in nursing. It emphasizes the legal and ethical responsibility of nursing. Theoretical principles and concepts are correlated with basic nursing subjects and clinical practice.
