MET2500 — CAM Programming
MET 2500 - CAM Programming MET 2500 - CAM Programming 3 Credits Computer aided manufacturing will be used to create machining strategies on 3D profiles using 2.5 axis CNC milling, 3 Axis CNC milling, as well as CNC turning. Topics include defining the coordinate system, constructing material stock box, and building of tool cribs that will be used to produce a completed part. The course will formulate tool paths, machining features, and machine simulation to generate an NC program for CNC machining. (Spring)
Prerequisites: CAD1320, MET1130, MET1140, MET1320
