An introduction to the knowledge and theory required to pursue a career as a professional dog groomer. Topics include groomer and pet safety, grooming theory, breed styling patterns, salon sanitation, canine anatomy, and the principles of skin and coat care. Instruction also emphasizes workplace skills such as customer service, time management, and communication.
