SEPX 1012 — Tap Dance for Seniors
An introduction to the fundamentals of tap dance, this course is designed for senior students with little to no prior dance experience. The class focuses on developing basic tap vocabulary and technique, including shuffles, flaps, and stamps. Students will learn how to execute fundamental steps and put them together into short combinations. This course promotes physical fitness, cognitive function, and social engagement in a fun, supportive environment. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and tennis/running/walking shoes. No open-toed shoes, Crocs, or Sandals Required Corequisite: SEPX-1000
