FIRT 1042 — Fire Officer I
This course is intended for existing officers, newly promoted officers or officer candidates. The course will cover basic skills such as communication, effective supervision and resource management. Meets the curriculum requirements of the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) for Fire Officer I certification. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be eligible to take the state certification exam for Fire Officer I, given at the end of the course. 6.40 CEUs Recommended Prerequisites: FIRT-2005
