DNTA 1071 — Intro to Orthodontic Asst
This course is designed for dental professionals seeking foundational knowledge and practical skills in orthodontic assisting. Students will explore the principles of orthodontics, treatment phases, and patient care while gaining hands-on experience in orthodontic procedures. Topics include patient assessments, impressions, radiography, instrument identification, appliance placement, wire adjustments, and aligner applications. Emphasis is placed on clinical skills, patient communication, and professional collaboration. CEUs: 3.20 Required Prerequisite(s): Registered Dental Certificate.
