ARTX 7101 — Ceramics Camp

Introduction to traditional and historical ceramic arts, building with clay, craft of wheel thrown pottery on a limited basis, and various glaze and decoration techniques for finishing work. Focus on design elements; line, shape, texture, and color, hand building techniques; pinch, coil and slabs. Functional as well as sculptural applications will be explored.
