PLST253 — Civil Procedure II

A continuation of the concepts and legal applications learned in PLST 152, to include further analysis of the various issues confronted in civil litigation. Students will learn to interpret and apply state and federal statues and court rules to address legal problems. Students will draft various types of legal documents intended to be presented in court and will be able to formulate arguments for and against various legal positions that arise during a civil lawsuit.

Prerequisites: PLST152, PLST153, PLST156, PLST232
