PLST243 — Advanced Law: Paralegal Practice in Contracts and Business Law

This course is an overview of the applied contract process and laws governing business organizations, including the sole proprietorship, the partnership, the limited liability company, and the corporation. Topics include contract formation and performance, breach of contract and remedies, Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code, business formations, operational requirements including shareholder responsibility, and sales, mergers, bankruptcy, and acquisitions of corporations.
