PLST224 — Real Estate Law

An introduction to law and legal systems as related to real estate transactions. Major topics include forms of ownership; title, transfers and insurance; fraud, deceit and misrepresentation; contract law and documents; real estate security documents; and duties and liabilities of licensees. Emphasis is placed on the paralegal’s role in real estate and property law practice.
