PLST151 — Legal Research and Writing I

An introduction to state and federal legal research practices and legal writing. Emphasis is on the location and analysis of validated, primary legal sources, including statutes and cases. Students will practice writing professional legal documents, such as client correspondence, case briefs, and legal memorandums, using proper legal citations.
