HSP126 — Cultural Competencies for Human Services
This is an online course that will examine the elements that create differences within society. The primary goal of this course is to expose learners to a variety of cultural ideas, promote tolerance for differences, and assistant in learning cultural competence when working with diverse populations. Culture, ethnicity, lifestyles, religion, disabilities, age, and gender will be explored to increase awareness of cultural biases and related concerns.
Prerequisites: HSP100
