HIT105 — Comprehensive Medical Terminology
This course covers the comprehensive study of roots, prefixes, suffixes, principles of word building, study of diagnostic, operative, and symptomatic terms of body systems, medical abbreviations, selected eponyms, and clinical laboratory and radiology terminology.The following body systems will be covered: musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, ingegumentary, gastroenterology, neurology, urinary, male reproductive, gynecology, and obstetrics. An emphasis will be placed on accurate spelling and pronunciation of all medical terms. Note: Completion of both HIT 130 and HIT 131 is equivalent to HIT 105
