DMS113 — Gynecology and Obstetrics I
This is the first of a three-part series (DMS 113, DMS 123, and DMS 126) that focuses on obstetrics and gynecology. This course will focus on the anatomy, physiology, and sonographic appearance of gynecologic and first trimester obstetric structures. Clinical indications, imaging considerations and patient care requirements specific to obstetric and gynecological patients will also be covered. Students will learn the pathologic processes associated with gynecology, first trimester obstetric complications, and gain skills related to identifying and documenting abnormalities.
