ART255 — Advanced Painting

Students will further develop their techniques in painting. Knowledge of paint applications, color theory, and composition will be expanded upon in this course. Students will analyze symbolism and visual concepts through a series of assignments. Research of art historical works and the examination of contemporary painting will be explored.

Prerequisites: ART156
