ANTH&237 — Human Osteology
An introduction to the comparative study of human and other mammalian skeletons as used for identification in forensic and biological anthropology. The course explores various methods of identifying human skeletons (from others) including bone form, age, sex, and state at death. Other topics include dental analyses, bone formation, and preservation.
