HST 101 — United States History to 1865 (MOTR HIST 101)
United States History to 1865 surveys the constitutional, cultural, economic, institutional, political, and social forces which have shaped United States history. The course begins with the colonial period, runs through the Revolution and Early Republic, including the Constitutional Convention, and concludes with the causes, course, and immediate outcome of the Civil War. (Credit is only allowed for either HST 101 or HST 103.) Prerequisites: Reading Proficiency or concurrent enrollment in RDG 079
