provides an introduction to the basic quantitative and qualitative research techniques used in public health, health education and promotion, and the health professions. Students develop a research question and use an evidence-based medical approach to draw conclusions. Prerequisites: ENG 101 , ENG 102 , or ENG 103 with a minimum grade of "C", HIM 101 with a minimum grade of "C", concurrent or prior enrollment in MTH 180 with a minimum grade of "C", and Reading Proficiency
