EMT 123 — Emergency Medical Technician Clinical I
provides the student the opportunity to observe a minimum of 60 hours at ambulance and hospital facilities. Students will be given the opportunity to demonstrate basic life saving skills (ex. performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), basic airway management, bleeding control, and splinting of extremities). Students will be performing basic medical and trauma assessments while utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) on live patients. Prerequisites: Reading Proficiency Corequisites: EMT 119 and EMT 121
