EDU 228 — Multicultural Education

is designed to examine the multicultural context of education and prepare students to understand and teach learners from a variety of backgrounds, with individual characteristics, and with differing social identities. The course will address meeting the individual needs of students, sociocultural influences on teaching and learning, and how teachers and schools can contribute to interpersonal development. Prerequisites: ENG 101 with a minimum grade of "C" and Reading Proficiency
