DMS 131 — Fundamentals of Cardiac Sonography Scanning and Knobology
introduces concepts of sonographic evaluation including gray-scale, M-mode, and Doppler of the ventricles, atria, and valves. Students perform basic sonographic procedures and familiarize themselves with the coinciding anatomy. Prerequisites: Entry into the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and Reading Proficiency
