DMS 114 — Cardiac Sonography Practicum I
introduces conduction of routine scanning protocols including gray-scale, M-mode, Doppler, and hemodynamic patterns of the cardiac system. Students are placed in a clinical setting under the supervision of a registered cardiac sonographer. Prerequisites: Entry into the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and Reading Proficiency
