DCS 221 — Sign to Voice Interpreting II

supports students in developing interpreting skills from American Sign Language (ASL) or Conceptually Accurate Signed English (CASE) source texts to spoken English target texts. Source texts include a variety of topics and discourse patterns. Source texts increase in length and complexity throughout the semester. Students learn techniques to recognize and repair errors, and to analyze and improve interpretations. Prerequisites: DCS 210 with a minimum grade of "C" and Reading Proficiency
