DCS 206 — Interpreting I
is an intermediate skills-based course. Students practice the skills necessary to interpret from spoken English source text to signed target text. Target texts include both American Sign Language (ASL) and Conceptually Accurate Signed English (CASE). Source texts increase in length and complexity throughout the semester. Professional standards in the interpreting field will also be discussed. Prerequisites: DCS 122 with a minimum grade of "C" and Reading Proficiency
