COM 111 — Voice and Articulation (MOTR PERF 100VD)
Voice and Articulation is designed to meet the needs of students looking to improve common problems of voice, articulation, dialect, and language and to gain fundamental theory in voice and articulation. This course covers principles and practices of improving voice, articulation, pronunciation, foreign, and regional dialects in the context of literary and theatrical works. Considerable emphasis is placed on recognizing voice and articulation as a necessary tool for everyday communication as well as an art form. Audio-video recording is used frequently for self-evaluation. Prerequisites: Reading Proficiency
