CMA 101 — Introduction to Medical Assisting I

introduces students to the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for a career in medical assisting. Topics include legal and ethical considerations, communication skills, patient care fundamentals, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. This course combines theoretical learning with clinical and simulation experiences to develop competency in patient interactions and procedures. Prerequisites: Enrollment in the Medical Assisting Program and Reading Proficiency
