CLT 100 — Orientation to the Medical Laboratory
is an introduction to the profession of medical technology and its functions, specialties, and responsibilities. The philosophy and ethics of the practice of medical technology are considered, as are the interpersonal relationships of the technologist with medical staff, laboratory staff, patients, and other departments. Furthermore, emphasis on medical terminology knowledge will be stressed. Prerequisites: Admission to the Clinical Laboratory Technology program and Reading Proficiency
