focuses on modern Java application development using contemporary frameworks and tools commonly employed in enterprise and cloud-based environments. Students develop Java applications using Spring Boot, dependency injection, RESTful web services, and object-relational mapping. Emphasis is placed on layered architecture, application programming interface (API)-driven design, data persistence, security fundamentals, asynchronous communication, and cloud-ready deployment practices. Prerequisites: CIT 287 with a minimum grade of "C" and Reading Proficiency
