BIO 231 — Cell Biology
is a comprehensive course that integrates cellular structure and function at the molecular level. Emphasis will be on extracellular and intracellular signaling and cellular response to those signals. Other mechanisms of focus will be transcription, cytoskeleton, cell division, protein biology, organelles, cell trafficking, and signal transduction. Prerequisites: BIO 140 with a minimum grade of "C" and Reading Proficiency
