BIO 225 — Genetics
explores the fundamental principles of heredity in prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms as well as the methods of genetic analyses at the molecular level. Topics include transmission genetics, molecular genetics, evolutionary genetics, and advances in biotechnology and genomics. (Credit is only allowed for either BIO 225 or BIO 559.) Prerequisites: BIO 140 with a minimum grade of "C" and Reading Proficiency
