BIO 215 — Human Body Systems
is a study of the structure and function of the normal, healthy human body. Emphasis will be on the organ systems as they relate to health information management and medical coding and billing. Additional focus will be on the use of anatomical language in the medical and scientific field, pharmacology and its effects on the human body, and diseases/conditions as it relates to the human body. This course is specifically for students in Health Information Management programs and cannot be substituted for BIO 207 or BIO 208 . Prerequisites: Reading Proficiency
