Evidence-based nursing knowledge presented will focus on the nursing process encompassing the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of physical and mental health, the prevention of illness for individuals, and growth and development across the lifespan. Engaging and interactive class time, along with assignments and exams, provide emphasis on complex nursing knowledge necessary for the care of individuals with alterations in neurodevelopment, electrolyte and acid-base balance, diabetes, cancer, renal, nutrition, gastrointestinal, and mental health disorders.
