MFG 131 - Piping Design, Fitting, & Fusion ** [ Click here for Cert Information ] MFG 131 - Piping Design, Fitting, & Fusion ** 3 Credit(s) Practical soldering and brazing of copper and steel tubing will be covered. Several joining processes will be used to fabricate and repair the various connections and fittings used in piping systems including swaging, flaring, chemical bonding, threading, pressing, soldering, and brazing. Black iron and galvanized pipe, pipefittings, and hand valves for water and gas will be discussed, as well as PVC pipe and connections.
