HVAC 210 - Advanced HVAC Electrical Controls & Systems ** [ Click here for Cert Information ] HVAC 210 - Advanced HVAC Electrical Controls & Systems ** 3 Credit(s) This advanced course explores the design, operation, and troubleshooting of electrical control systems used in commercial and industrial HVAC applications. Students will build on foundational electrical knowledge to master control logic, sequence of operations, and integration with building automation systems (BAS). Topics include motor control circuits, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), low-voltage control wiring, and advanced schematic interpretation. Through hands-on labs and real-world simulations, students will develop the skills needed to install, configure, and service sophisticated HVAC control systems with precision and safety. Students in this course are eligible to sit for NC3 certifications. Students who are successful in passing the exam will earn certification.
