Emphasis will be placed on self-development, information literacy, and the academic skills necessary for success. These transferrable skills become the framework for a student’s college experience, while setting the foundation for later career success. This course also includes instruction for multilingual students regarding key skills needed to be successful in an American college, including listening, speaking, note taking, test taking, time management, and basic written communication.
