ELE 230 - Panels, Breakers, Disconnects, & Fuses ** [ Click here for Cert Information ] ELE 230 - Panels, Breakers, Disconnects, & Fuses ** 3 Credit(s) This course provides students with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting electrical panels, circuit breakers, disconnects, and fuses. Students will explore the role of these components in electrical distribution and protection, learning how to size, select, and configure them according to the National Electrical Code (NEC). Emphasis is placed on safety, load calculations, fault protection, and proper installation techniques. Through lab exercises and real-world scenarios, students will develop the skills necessary to work confidently with electrical service equipment in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments.
